Comparison

DiscoLike vs BlitzAPI

BlitzAPI sells flat-rate unlimited access to a LinkedIn-derived dataset, API-only. DiscoLike sells search over its own crawl of the business web, with a product on top. Different data, different delivery, different math.

TL;DR

BlitzAPI's pitch is straightforward: flat monthly pricing from $399 with no credits, seats, or overages, aimed at technical teams running high-volume enrichment who are tired of credit meters. At large enrichment volumes, this can save you money, but you are still reaching much of the same buyer pool as hundreds of other high-volume outreach campaigns.

The dataset underneath is described by BlitzAPI as a proprietary LinkedIn-based dataset. DiscoLike's is the opposite: our own crawl of 80M+ business websites, searchable by natural language, lookalike, and exact homepage phrases, through a UI, REST API, and a data MCP server, from $99/mo.

Also worth knowing: BlitzAPI's mobile coverage is US-only, and its MCP connects agents to its documentation, not its data. DiscoLike's MCP lets agents run live searches against the index itself.

What "unlimited" buys, and from what

Flat pricing with no credit meter is an answer to a real frustration, and their catch-all email validation is a substantive technical capability. For a RevOps team hammering enrichment endpoints at volume, $399–$499/mo flat can work out cheaper than credit-based pricing.

The question is what's being served unlimited. BlitzAPI describes its source as a proprietary LinkedIn-based dataset, with no published crawl methodology or refresh cadence. Company search filters (industry, headcount, country, keywords) run over profile-shaped records. Unlimited access to a dataset doesn't change what the dataset can see, and LinkedIn-shaped data has a well-documented blind spot: companies that don't maintain a presence there, which is precisely where niche and international TAM hides.

Unlimited queries against a partial map still return a partial map.

API-only vs. product-plus-API

BlitzAPI has no meaningful UI: you write HTTP calls or wire it through n8n, Make, or Clay. That's a deliberate choice serving technical teams, and if you have the engineering capacity it's not a defect.

DiscoLike ships both: a web app where anyone on the team can run natural language, lookalike, and phrase searches, and a REST API (with a Python SDK and CLI for scripted workflows) plus integrations carrying the same capabilities. Every plan includes API access. You don't choose between the product and the pipeline.

The MCP distinction, precisely

Both companies use the words "MCP server," and they mean different things. BlitzAPI's MCP connects your AI tool to its API documentation, so agents can generate correct integration code. Useful, but the agent still can't query B2B data as a tool at runtime.

DiscoLike's MCP server is a data MCP: agents connect and run live company and contact searches against the 80M+ index directly, natural language queries included. If you're building agents that need to find companies mid-task rather than have integration code written, that distinction is the whole game. See DiscoLike for agents.

One MCP writes code about the data. The other one searches it.

Verifiability, briefly

BlitzAPI is young: no independent review corpus yet, and headline figures that vary between its own pages. That doesn't make the product bad. It makes a pilot mandatory. Test both against your actual ICP: DiscoLike is self-serve at $99/mo and BlitzAPI offers trial credits, so the comparison costs an afternoon.

Fit

Which one is right for you?

Choose DiscoLike if

  • You need to discover companies, not just enrich records you already have
  • Your ICP lives partly outside the LinkedIn-visible economy, niche or international
  • Non-technical teammates need to run searches too, not just call endpoints
  • You're building agents that query data at runtime over MCP
  • You need global contact coverage, not US-only mobiles

Choose BlitzAPI if

  • You run 5,000+ enrichments monthly and flat pricing beats any credit model
  • Your team is technical and API-only delivery is a feature, not a bug
  • Your ICP is US-focused and LinkedIn-visible
  • Catch-all email resolution at volume is your key requirement

FAQ

Common questions

Isn't BlitzAPI's unlimited pricing better than DiscoLike's credits?

At high volume, yes: above roughly 5,000 enrichments a month, flat $399–$499 beats credit models. Below that, DiscoLike's $99 entry with net-new-only billing and a 90-day free record cache is the better math. Note BlitzAPI's 5 requests/second cap on all tiers is the effective meter.

Both have MCP servers. What's the difference?

BlitzAPI's MCP serves its API documentation so agents can write integration code. DiscoLike's MCP is a data server: agents run live natural language, lookalike, and contact searches against the 80M+ index at runtime. For agent workflows that need to find companies mid-task, only one of these does that.

Where does each dataset come from?

BlitzAPI describes its source as a proprietary LinkedIn-based dataset, publicly sourced, without a published methodology or refresh cadence. DiscoLike's index is our own crawl of 80M+ business websites (1B pages) with SSL-validated domains and documented coverage claims.

Does DiscoLike have an API like BlitzAPI?

Yes. REST API access is included on every plan, alongside the web app, Python SDK, CLI, MCP server, Clay, Zapier, N8N, and webhook integrations. Embedding DiscoLike data in a customer-facing product requires the Enterprise plan.
