Why do we do this? Because the cost is mostly in the models and search APIs, not in the orchestration. DiscoGen is lightweight, just remote calls and simple processing, so we can offer it for free.

How is DiscoGen free if Claygent charges per action?
The orchestration layer is free. You pay the model and search provider directly through your own keys. Claygent bundles all three into per-action pricing. We unbundle because orchestration is the cheap part.
Which models and search providers work?
Any major LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Azure, Mistral) plus any search API through LiteLLM (Serper, Tavily, Perplexity, Brave, SearXNG). Bring the key, we pass the calls through with no markup.
Do I need Clay to use DiscoGen?
No. DiscoGen runs standalone through the DiscoLike web app, REST API, and MCP server. Use it from Claude Code, n8n, or any HTTP tool.
