Any time you are working with data it’s a good idea to validate two key things, Accuracy and Coverage.

✅ Accuracy can be relatively simple, take a random sample of 100 domains, click them open and see if there’s a website, it’s a real company, and it aligns with your ICP.
🌍 Coverage is the harder one, you need an outside set of data.
⚙️ How it works:
1️⃣ Get an external sample set with the same targeting criteria, 100 is enough for exploratory analysis to validate a 10K list.
2️⃣ Compare it to your existing list, simply see how many records overlap. Everything that is new is a lift.
💡 If you have 40 new records, you are missing 40% of the market. If all or almost all are new, you can at least 2x your coverage, probably more.
